Study Periods
Year 11 and 12 students may be allocated study periods.  Year 11 students who are enrolled in a VET will be permitted one study block per week in which they must conduct silent study in the Later Years Study Hall in D-Block.  Year 12 students will be permitted one study block as a part of their load.  If students have this study block in Period 1/2 or Period 5/6 then they are permitted to sign in/out late or early provided that they and their parents have signed the Year 12 Student Commitment form.

Late Arrival/Early Departure
Any student who arrives late to school or needs to depart early must do so with a parent note.  Students who arrive late with no permission will be issued a lunch detention.  Students must sign in/out at the later years office.  Students who fail to so will be issued further consequences.

Attendance Requirements/Absences
Both VCE and VCAL have a minimum 80% attendance requirement.  Any student who is absent should present a medical certificate to the Later Years office along with their diary.  Students who miss scheduled School Assessed Coursework (SAC) due to absence must present a medical certificate and complete the task on the day of their arrival back to school in order to receive scored assessment.  In order to do this, students must also complete the SAC Reschedule Form which can be downloaded from the Later Years Documents, Forms and Links page.

Study Room
The Later Years Study Room (D5) is a space for students to conduct silent study before, during and after school.  It is generally open from 8:00am each morning until 4:30pm each afternoon.  All students are encouraged to use this space productively and respect the facilities.

Assemblies
Both Year 11 and Year 12 have weekly homegroup assemblies.  All students must attend, including Year 12 students who have a study block in Period 1/2.

Academic Concern Letters
Year 11 and Year 12 teachers periodically issue Academic Concern Letters via the Later Years Leadership office.  These letters are posted home advising parents that their child is at academic risk.  Students who develop an academic risk history will be required to attend meetings with their respective Sub-school Leaders.

Exit/Transfer Procedures
Any student who is considering an early exit from school to commence further education, training or employment at another venue must complete the required exit paperwork and participate in an exit interview.  Students who are considering other options should liaise with their respective Sub-School Leader and the Careers Office.

Student Vehicles
Year 12 students who have acquired their probationary license are permitted to drive to school, however they may not park their vehicle in the staff car park, or transport any other student to or from school (other than siblings).   Students must provide their registration number to the Later Years Office.

Academic Honesty
All students are expected to adhere to the VCAA Rules for School Assessed Coursework and Examinations and the Kambrya College Academic Honesty Policy.  Any suspected breaches of these rules will be investigated thoroughly and students will be required to explain their actions before a panel.
