Established in 2002, the College has developed a strong focus on student achievement, improvement and meeting the educational needs of the students in our community.
In terms of physical resources, Kambrya College has a range of impressive facilities. These include well resourced Science block, a Language Centre, an Art and Technology
block, a Commercial Kitchen, a Music Centre and Theatre, a VCE Study Centre, four designated sub school precincts, a three court Gymnasium, new cricket nets and a soccer pitch
with a first class surface. A quality AFL and Cricket field is currently under development.
Kambrya College offers all students in Years 7 to 11 a netbook computer free of charge. This program is being rolled out over 2011-12.
It has been a brilliant undertaking with students and teachers incorporating this bold new 1:1 environment into teaching and learning much more rapidly
and seamlessly than expected.
Kambrya College is rapidly establishing itself as a leading government school in terms of its student achievement data with VCE scores, VCAL success rates
and NAPLAN data trending strongly towards improvement. Similar trends are also evident in Student, Parent and Staff Opinion Surveys.
