KAMBRYA COLLEGE STUDENT DRESSCODE

The uniform is supplied by Graham Booth Menswear who carries a list detailing all aspects of the uniform requirements.  The College Council asks that you support the College uniform policy from the time your child leaves home to their return.

The uniform is designed to develop a sense of belonging.  We expect our students will wear the uniform with pride, and that it will be neat and tidy at all times.  In particular the following points should be noted:

• Facial piercing is not permitted and only one plain stud or sleeper per ear lobe.
• Coloured nail polish and make up are not acceptable
• Extreme hair colours and/or extreme hairstyles (at the discretion of the Principal or their representative) are not permitted.
• Shirts should be tucked in and ties pushed up to the shirt collar
• Slipper or ballet type shoes are not permitted. No canvas shoes.

The Kambrya College backpack is the only bag recommended for students.

PLEASE NOTE: Non uniform items will be confiscated and held for a period of time. Students refusing to adhere to the College dress code will be isolated in supervised study.

Health and Physical Education/Sport Uniform

Students who have HPE or sport throughout the day (not including interschool sports training) are able to wear their full Sports uniform for the whole day.
It is recommended that the school cap or a blue bucket hat be worn outside during PE/sport classes.

GIRLS/BOYS:

• Navy blue Kambrya College polo sport top with house colour on collar edge
• Kambrya College navy sports shorts or
• Kambrya College navy netball skirt or
• Kambrya College navy tracksuit pants or plain navy tracksuit pants
• Kambrya College navy tracksuit jumper or polar fleece jacket
• College water proof jacket with embroidered College logo
• White or blue plain socks (should be visible above ankle)
• Sturdy lace up runners

Seniors Uniform

Additions to the current uniform have been introduced for Year 11 and 12 Students only.  These additions have been introduced to complement the current uniform and to distinguish the Senior Students.

GIRLS/BOYS:

• Senior Navy Blue Zip Front Jacket
• Senior rugby top   (year 12 only) 
• College Senior tie  (compulsory terms 2 and 3)                                      
• Senior Polo Shirt   (terms 1 and 4 only)                           

Technology/Science Requirements

For safety reasons, students are required to wear Fully enclosed sturdy black shoes or sturdy lace up runners

Terms 1 and 4 – Summer uniform

It is recommended that the school cap or a blue bucket hat be worn outside during recess/lunch and PE/sport classes.

GIRLS:

• Summer dress or;
• Check skirt (worn at an appropriate length as determined by the Principal or their representative) and Midford white school short sleeved shirt (open neck) or;
• Taupe shorts and Midford white school short sleeved shirt (open neck) or;
• Navy pants with College logo and Midford white school short sleeved shirt (open neck);
• White or blue plain socks (must be visible above the ankle);
• Fully enclosed sturdy black shoes or sturdy lace up runners

 BOYS:

• Taupe shorts and Midford white school short sleeved shirt (open neck) or
• Taupe pants (pants should be worn appropriately as determined by the principal or their representative) and Midford white school short sleeved shirt (open neck)
• A plain black belt may be worn
• White or blue plain socks (no logos, must be visible above the ankle)
• Fully enclosed sturdy black shoes or sturdy lace up runners  

Terms 2 and 3 – Winter Uniform

Plain navy scarves are able to be worn

GIRLS:

• Checked winter skirt and Midford white classic shirt long sleeved or
• Navy  pants with logo and Midford white classic shirt long sleeved
• College tie
• College jumper or polar fleece jacket with embroidered College logo
• College water proof jacket with embroidered College logo
• Long white or blue socks or plain navy or black tights
• Fully enclosed sturdy black shoes or sturdy lace up runners
